Have a co-worker that has a Taurus Judge Public Defender for sale. It's the stainless one and probably only has 40 or 50 rounds through it. I thought i might be interested in it but found that i didn't like the short length of the grip. It feels kind of front heavy and feels like it might be hard to control. Do others feel the same?

Yes, mine does feel a little nose heavy, but I guess you get used to it. I am looking into seeing if you can change the grips out. I wanted it mostly for home defense and sometimes I'll carry it in the truck with me when I travel. I don't shoot it a lot so I don't find it to be a big issue. I just don't hardly think I can go wrong with this as my home defense weapon, short grip or not, you can easily hang onto it. That's just my opion.

Got mine originally for the wife with the smaller grip & found that wrapping my pinky under the grip helps control & adds a little leverage. Does feel a little front heavy but it helps with the recoil in my opinion
