Public hunting land Greencastle

Hey guys, I'm a college student at DePauw University in Greencastle and I love to hunt. Luckily I don't live too far from home and will be able to go home on weekends to hunt.

I am looking for a place to bow hunt near Greencastle so that I can go after classes during the week. I have tried asking some farmers, but I have had no luck. The only public ground I have found in the area is Lieber State Park. I am wondering if anyone has ever hunted there?

Also I'm looking for a good little bowshop in the area. Not looking for anything fancy, just someone who knows what they are doing.

R. Warren Priest He's knowledgeable, He fixed the string on my longbow in 10 minutes and only wanted three dollars. He's retired, give him a try. There's turkey run state park and shades state park as well as lieber within 20 minutes of town. When the land swap goes through with Camp atturbury and the putnamville prison there will be another 3000 acres of land that hasn't been hunted in a long,long time.
