Question about Noveske SPR availability

I'm in the middle of building an 18" SPR. I'm running a Noveske Gen 2 lower with a Magpul PRS. As for the upper I'm looking to get a Noveske 18" SPR w/ VIS. I've been checking it almost everyday on Rainier Arms and it's still under the status "Notify Me Please". Plus it's been taken down from DSG Arms website.

I've been told that Noveske is discontinuing this upper...is there any truth to this rumor? Also has anyone found any for sale anywhere else? Preferably new and not used, but used will do if nothing else is available.
