Is it legal for me to install and use clear strobe lights in the head lights and tail lights of my pickup truck?

The reason I ask is because this summer I will be using my truck to do some work which will require me to be parked on the sides of roads quite a bit. In order to increase the visibility of my truck while doing this, I would like to put in some strobe lights. I just want to make sure i'm not breaking any laws by doing so.

    Thanks in advance.

If not, there are thousands of folks in violation...

    :D

You could also utilize amber strobes, too, if you wanted. Or an amber wigwag / revolving light.

Previous work vehicle I had had a light bar on top with amber revolvers, and white strobes in all 4 corners. Next vehicle just had white strobes in the corners.

Thanks for the replies. I was pretty sure I was in the clear but I just wanted to make sure.

I thougt about going with the lightbar, but a good one costs alot more than the strobes and I think the strobes porvide better visibility.
