This past weekend I was at sugar mill lake in fountain county.... And throughout the weekend I noticed the distant sound of explosions... At first it was like fire works but there was only one boom... There would be a boom then about 15 minutes there would be another and after that it wouldn't happen for an hour or too... Any ideas????

    Floyd/Harrison Count
Probably exotic fireworks. Our neighborhood in rural Floyd/Harrison County sounded like Pleiku at the peak of the activity there in the '60's. Plus, my neighbor has a '.50 cal Browning MG that he saves a belt of 250 rounds of tracer ammo for use late night the 4th of July. We live in a rapid-fire neighborhood.
