Thinking about camping there soon...Is this a fairly wooded campground? Are the sights decent? Any good shore fishing? Any specific sight recommendations? Thanks We have a small camper and kids that love to fish?

Be aware that Raccoon SRA is withing the Army Corp of Engineers property boundary, which includes all of the lake and much of the shore. Firearms must be unloaded and stored in a case or locked in a vehicle.

No idea on camping or fishing, though. Just wanted you to be aware...

It's a nice campground. We take the camper and kids there often all summer long. Not sure about the shore fishing as we have a boat but in general it is a pretty good fishing lake.

On the map is that the small loop on the North end or the small loop on the Southwest end? Thanks..."Key Hole"

It is the small loop west of the boat ramp right above the lake. SW end. It is a dead end and wooded. We try and get the last 2 spots in there.
    Are you tent camping..??
