Rain kept me out of the deer stand this morning, but I got this SAA out to shoot up some 38-40 ammo I wasn't keeping as it did not work well in the Winchesters. It had already been refinished when I picked it up and had repro grips. I cleaned it up and added oversize stags and it's now one of those guns that fits my hand well and shoots accurately. From 1900, it's probably been passed around a lot, but it still has that smooth Colt action and a respectable bore.
The newer ammunition I'm using has an Accurate mold bullet that works much better in the Winchesters.
