That's what worries me - when you can't get to the big debate (fair or not) , stepping out of the other debate and taking the low road to get attention is an interesting path. Not usually wise.

Then again, Trump has taken the low road in attacking things and it has worked... go figure.

Rand shouldn't have waited so long to give the establishment the bird. He started out fiery, controversial, and doing well in the polls, but has mellowed, not attacked the establishment, and his poll numbers show.

This will probably gain him some fans, wonder if it will make up for ones he lost? Not sure what I think of the gesture, if it was something rash & impulsive, not good...if he thought about it first and did it any way, well...can't say i have a huge problem with it!

He backed Mitch McConnell for reelection fer sanities sake...he's like his dad. Talks big but makes sure his earmarks are in the winning legislation.

QFT. I used to really like him, not so much now after this past year. Cruz is my choice.

Maybe he is trying to capitalize on the same thing. The problem is that I just don't think he can do it.

Trump is a boor. A populist, constitutional-agnostic (at best) boor. But he's a celebrity and we like our celebrities to be brash, edgy, and coarse. Paul is not and he doesn't pull it off.
