I took a Colt Delta Elite and a Kimber TLE Custom 10mm to the range today. It was the first time out for both of them. I was using the Sig 10mm 180 gr FMJ loads. They are 1250 fps and I have always had good luck with it.

The CDE went through eight mags with no issues whatsoever. Shot really nicely. No complaints at all.

The Kimber was another story. I only shot 4 mags through it and there were failures on every mag (1 kimber, 2 colt and 1 mf). Really disappointing. I have taken it apart and cleaned and lubed it good. Will give it another try.

Sorry to hear of the issues with the Kimber, but glad to hear that the DE worked well for you. You just have to love some 10mm fun. The photo below was shot on an early range trip with my DE. Fun stuff.

Thanks. There are a couple of days a year that the sun comes up right after the 8am shoot time and I always try to be at the range on those days if I can. Makes for a bit of fun with fireballs and low light shooting.
