I purchased this thing recently and I can't get it to hold the clip spring. Is it cut wrong or did it break? Do I need to order a new ram? If so, seems hard to find, I was unable to find one. Right now I'm using a rubber band to hold the shell holder.

Can you send ram back to RCBS? Have them check it out and see what it needs.

That looks jacked up to me. I don't even see how it could hold a shell holder. You bought that new? On my RCBS single stage, the sides of the shell holder slot are parallel.

I went and had a look at my new RCBS turret. Ram looks like yours. That clip is a huge pain in the rear end. Have to use a small pic to help guide and hold in place while the shell holder is wiggled into place all while holding your toung in the right place and peeing into the wind.

I would call them. I bet they send you parts no charge.

I was able to get a shell holder to stay in place by using a rubber band. I was able to decap and size about 500 rounds before my work top decided to wobble. I emailed RCBS Friday about it, to see what I need. Picked it up on eBay
