I would like to CC when I attend worship yet we choose, in Indiana, to have a law that makes cc illegal! No CC in a "School Zone". Sunday school, day care/preschool during the week makes the entire building a School zone 23/7. Why can't we get that changed? Do we need more dead pastors/worshipers?

I took the Utah non-resident concealed carry permit class last weekend & was told by the instructor that you could carry in a church in Indiana. Like the old saying goes "concealed means concealed."

I have CC'ed in church for the last 22 years. I have served communion, led prayer and ushered with anything between a NAA .22 to a Springfield Micro-Compact .45. I trust God to protect me and my family. David had 5 stones when he faced Goliath. God had prepared David for that moment in time by sharpening his aim!

In Indiana you can carry into a church so long as the church has no "school" (K-12, pre-school, day care, religion school, etc).

The gray area is the following:

The property where you go to church has church and then also another bldg used for school. If you go on Sunday to church and ONLY to church are in you violation of the law since there is a school?

Now if you get your "religion leader" to make you and others security guards (paid or unpaid) when church is in session and their is a school on the property the mater is NULLED. Since you are acting as an agent for the church and the church always you to carry for your function then the law goes out the window.

So form a security detail and get your religions leader to sign off on it (in writing) and you are all set. No need to OC or hand SG and rifles but just additional ushers that stand at the entrances with CC if the church sheep are so afraid.
