Looking for a quality yet not $200 owb leather thumb break holster for my G26, besides the old Galco and Desantis routes, anyone on INGO with some other brands that don’t take 3-12 months turn around times? Thanks, folks!

I've had several, and currently use Gould & Goodrich leather thumbsnap pancake holsters. The 802 & 803 models.

Long ago, I used a couple Bianchi for pistol carry, now a part for Safariland. I do have a couple newer Bianchi for bigger revolvers and those seem good

I have Desantis thumb breaks for a number of guns, and have been happy with them. They are relatively inexpensive, and should be easy to find in stock for a G26...is there a reason you've ruled them and Galco out?

I have a 1791 holster for my 1911, and it is decent as well. If it needs to not be Galco or Desantis, I'd give 1791 a look. I also like Don Hume, if you can find them.

I've had good luck shopping used on ebay, often getting decent quality leather for half price or thereabouts. Look for actual used name brand stuff...there's a lot of cheap stuff on there that isn't any good. I bought one of those once and it was floppy and poorly stitched. I ended up re-stitching it myself, and it now retains the gun and protects the trigger, but is still floppier than a leather holster should be.

View attachment 168687 Check out Craft Holsters, particularly the Falco holsters they carry. Here’s mine for my CZ P-01 Omega.

I am recently hip to Craft Holsters. Very pleased so far. $100 +/- and a longer wait, but real quality for the buck.

A second vote for 1791 as well. They are usually my go-to. I have several. My LGS has a large selection and the price vs quality debate can take the Pepsi challenge with just about anyone.

    SR1911 and CZ 97 both in 1791.

Not opposed to desantis or Galco by any means, but I wanted to know if I wasn’t reaching far enough to find another maker that’s doing good work is all.

There’s some sketchy looking stuff on Amazon and the like.

I've got the same 1791 1911 holster and magazine holster. That is signature brown right?

Dutchvalley Leather. Quality work, very good prices. I used to see him at all the OGCA shows. Always sold out
