For those of us who may be inclined to sit down with a book and take some notes, I've recently been looking for a recommended author and/or titles on firearms training. On a recent visit to the library, it so happened there where a couple titles that appeared to have some good credentials, however all had been checked out except for one. The author is Massad Ayoob, a well known author and instructor in the gun community, the title is Combat Shooting. Anyone read this - have any opinions they would like to share? Other book recommendations? 
I had Ayoob in mind for a mentor of some sort- maybe starting a thread on well respected firearms trainers, lets say start with a list, eventually add biographies, accomplishments, works published, hats, t-shirts, mugs, trading cards, .....sorry, couldn't resist
