The power went out this evening for about 3.5 hours. During that time there were many tasks I was not able to do without electricity.

Then I realized that brass prep is a manual operation! So I set up an oil lamp on the reloading bench and started cranking on some 9mm casings (and dreamed of an emergency generator someday! :))

For those of us who are concerned about where the future might be going, this thread is rather poignant. Reloading by the light of an oil lamp is pretty cool. Just keep it a good distance from the primers and powders, OK? ;)

Sigh, this reminds me that I need to get the ball moving on reloading. I'm thinking I might have to come back down for a refresher. :)
