I bought 1000 .223 cases this summer and about 50% of them were packed full of dry media, so me and my 2 inch deck screw were busy digging it out today. I got about 300 prepped and primed, and 50 done.
A lot of people complain about winter, but I love it! It gives me a chance to catch up on my reloading, as well as my other indoor hobbies. Bad weather doesn't mean there aren't things to be done!
That was my plan, but like an idiot I didn't buy primer or powder when they were available. I have primers on the way, but I'm coming up empty on powder. I have 1500 cases cleaned, sized, and ready to load but nothing to load them with.
Same here...spent about two hours today sorting thru a 5 gallon bucket full of brass. Separated into bins of 9mm, .40, .45, and .223 before the next step of brass cleaning. Great weather to stay inside !
Some of my motorcycle friends say that winter is God's way of making you do the maintenance, clean up and polishing on your bike. I think it is a good time to reload, clean and relube firearms too.
