    I could see a 124 grain bullet, but there's not a powder made that would fit 124 grains in a 243 case.

    124 grains of POWDER!?

    I'm the farthest thing from an expert but even I know that's crazy. 124 grain BULLET, maybe. That's pretty big for a .243 IMHO.

    Who manufactures it ?

    I mispoke by 1/7,000 of a pound. DTAC made 117 VLD's for a time.

    Believe David decided that they were too tough to get to shoot in current barrel technology, but there were some that shot em for a little while.
