    I have not, but its a proven concept with big bore weapons, like the main gun on tanks and artillery. I used to watch the field arty guys use a plug similar to that, but about the size of a foot ball. Took a couple of them to tug it through the barrel, so I would figure it fit pretty tight. Also made me glad I wasn't field arty, but that's beside the point.

    I would happily use it on a shotgun, I could see that working great on a smooth bore. I wonder how well it would clean rifling though? I wonder if the rubber would be able to flex enough to fit in the grooves? Or would it lay on top of them?

    Same thought here, it would really have to be flexible to clean effectively. :dunno:
