I had one a couple years ago. It was a nice shooting gun. Extremely lightweight. It had some downsides though. It could not be drilled and tapped so I could add a scope for the slug barrel. The lightweight design also meant a considerable recoil.

In all honesty, I'd just go buy a plain jane 870 instead.

    thanks

    thanks for letting me know.
i have an 870, just wanted another similar one.
i just really like the idea of it being impervious to the weather.
does it really have a lot more recoil or is it in the same ballpark?

It's not dramatically more, but there is some difference. if you don't plan on adding any attachments at all, I guess you shouldn't have any problems.
