I recently acquired a Remington Model 29, 12 gauge shotgun, handed down from my grandfather. It has just a slight bit of play, seemingly between the barrel and the action. Does anyone have any experience with these, and can offer any advice on how to fix. Gun seems to function fine either way. It is also in need of a little reconditioning. I don't want it to look new, but wouldn't mine to have everything nice and refreshed, especially the wood. I know this can affect the value, but it is worth much more sentimentally to me, than it ever would be as a resale item. Just looking for as much info or ideas as I can at this time.
