Renewal Of C&R FFL. Question 4

First time renewal.

Google and searches of the ATF website were fruitless.

Question 4 "Has a copy of this renewal form been sent to the CLEO…."

Yes or No answer. At this point it's NO.

I'm I supposed to send a copy to the CLEO and answer YES?

just check yes, then mail out the CLEO copy today, the AFT copy tomorrow

I know they sent something, I can't remember what it was exactly...

They sent out the two sided FFL form, and a 1/2 sheet of paper for citizenship. No instructions.

The wording of question 4 it seemed as it might be optional. They have all that info on file from 3 years ago, and nothing has changed address wise.

The last time I renewed I checked "No" because that was the honest answer and I just viewed it as a question, not a requirement. I was renewed anyway.

Checking "Yes" would not have been dishonest until you submit the form to BATFE.
