I need to renew my license soon.

Is there a different process for renewing v. getting one for the first time? As far as I can tell it seems to be no different, just start the online application and go from there.

I know some states send out a renewal form. I take it Indiana does not do this?

I've never heard of a renewal form being sent in Indiana. I believe you apply as usual, and be sure to do lifetime. Iirc, you get a small discount if you have a current license as opposed to a newbie. I'm on my phone now, but a full write can be found on Indys website.

same process, no notice to renew. Keep your receipt that you applied for and paid so if yours expires before you get the new one you are still covered with your receipt of renewal
