    Are there laws in place that require you to teach weapons and self defense classes? I thought a lot of them overseas in my time of the service and thought about putting together a little class here and there.

    Not sure I understand what you are asking. You can't throw a quarter without hitting a "self defense" instructor, is that what you mean?

    No legal requirements. I would not teach classes without liability insurance though. Insurance company should want some type of certification.
