Rifle question ?

Im interested in trying to hunt deer possibly with a rifle here in state. When I read the book Im trying to figure out exactly what caliber rifles I could use and specific examples would be appreciated.

I use the .44 mag, Ruger 77/44 bolt action.

You would be best going with the well known .357mag or .44mag rifles.

But it's all your preference.

.500 S&W, 44 mag, 357 mag in an H&R handi rifle single shot. Or, a 44 mag, 357 mag, 45 Long Colt in a Henry lever rifle, Rossi,

Legal rifles in Indiana?

I was wondering if any of you guys could specifically list the leagl rifle options for deer in Indiana. Say if it says .357 is that the same .357 that you would shoot from your pistol?
