So what is HIS plan/idea? I seen no mention of it in the article.
So, for Joe Blow Public (screaming for something NOW) he has nothing.
Thats ok, don't think we are fond of his arrogant better than thou attitude either.

Yeah that crazy old guy thinks teachers have a right to defend themselves... what a loon.
That and this whole 'Constitution' thing he brings up, why should we let a piece of paper over 2 centuries old stop progress!!!!
I've never seen Ron Paul say anything I disagree with when it comes to RKBA, self defense and the second amendment.

"Government role is to protect liberty, not to pursue unobtainable safety," wrote Paul.
So how is he purposing to get these changes in society? Is he going to legislate morallity? Where/when exactly is his "plan" going to go into action?
A lot of people slammed the NRA for waiting so long to react, why are they not even madder at Ron Paul who waited even longer?

Ron Paul is absolutely correct. The only real action that would not infringe upon liberty is allowing teachers to arm themselves. Armed guards are not needed at schools. Teachers are already charged with providing a safe and educational atmosphere....lets let them do their jobs! A TSA situation at our numerous public schools is not the answer.
Ron is right. He just doesn't go far enough. It will take generations to reverse the societal issues he's speaking of, if they can be reversed. Wayne LaPierre addressed the same issues. However, WL also offered an immediate fix to the problem of security in our schools.
BTW, while we're comparing followers, I wonder if RP was picking up new supporters at the rate of 8K per day like the NRA did following the Sandy Hook shooting. (As reported by Fox News on 12/22)
Edit: I just did a quick search on the net and found the media is on this like a bum on a ham sandwich. Ron has made himself an instant media darling simply by [STRIKE]disagreeing with the NRA[/STRIKE]arguing the solution is more liberty and following the Constitution.
