“If they threw a party, hardly anyone would go to it. So they have parasitically attached themselves to our ultra-progressive revolutionary movement because we are what’s real and what’s happening, in order to push their junk without doing any heavy lifting.”

 Well, she got the first part right. ;)

The Ron Paul tent at Occupy Philly was teaching Survival Skills. I played Santa Clause with a lot of plastic bottles of water when the water was turned off, but my stored food wasn't rotated so I haven't shared much. The city said no tents after Nov 27 probably meaning no Ron Paul tents,

How do you propose to ban a group of people exercising their first amendment rights in a public place when your own argument for not being banned is that you're exercising your first amendment rights in a public place?

Nope, definitely didn't say that. I argued that it is false that they are all flea-party communists fighting the bourgeois. No group that large is homogeneous. Its ridiculous to argue otherwise.

It's ridiculous to argue that 99% of the 99percenters AREN'T "all flea-party communists fighting the bourgeois." The 1% left that is anything else are too marginal in the group to matter.

Face-to-face Survey of a small group of protestors:

Don't you dare plug your ears at Douglas Schoen's little survey in which he tells us virtually nothing about how he selected the respondents in order to get his vague, ambiguous responses, so vague that they neither prove nor disprove anything other than the presenter's biased gloss on the results.

Sounds like he's actually biased in favor of your position.

Douglas Schoen warns White House: Don?t back ?Occupy Wall Street? - MJ Lee - POLITICO.com

All in all, these numbers demonstrate the fact that the protesters represent “an unrepresentative segment of the electorate that believes in radical redistribution of wealth, civil disobedience and, in some instances, violence,” and that their common bond is “a deep commitment to left-wing policies,” Schoen said.
