When you say "paperless", you mean used?

Do you think these will be taken away by the ATF or require a stamp someday?

    Just curious.

It's not a pistol in the true sense of the word...and not a rifle either. I agree that it is cool...I seems to be the reason for it existing.

Rossi must have finally got around to making a batch of the ranch hands. A guy I work with waited months to get one. Now they are showing up everywhere

I hate to bring this thread back from the dead but...

What do you owners of this Mare's Leg think?

Is the quality ok? Worth the money?

I'm looking at the .357 cal

Even though it is a pistol, if you go to a range and put it against your shoulder when firing is that bad as far as the ATF is concerned or can you fire it however you want?

Or is it even comfortable to do that?

Anyone have any (not stock) photos?

I picked up a Puma, (I hates the Slide Safety on the Rossie) ,.. In 44 mag..

It is not practical or comfortable to shoot from the shoulder.. Plus your face is right on the firing chamber so I do not know how safe it would be if the round has any kind of malfunction

But its a lot of fun to shoot. Just watch a few episodes of "Wanted Dead or Alive" and you'll know what to do..

Yes used................I did buy a gun or two that was new and paperless but they are rare. I know longer want a transaction recorded of what I buy.
