Question for you 15-22 owners...ever have any issue with out-of-battery discharges? I have shot a few hundred rounds through 15-22's, but this summer my wife had a KB with one and it kind of soured her (read: scared her) on that particular rifle.

I have both and when I go to the range these days it is the 15-22 that goes with me. But I bought mine for much less than the current prices.

Never had any out of battery issues enochroot.

Whoa. Hate to see those results

15-22 will beat 10/22 all day long. This doesn't say much about the 15-22 beating the 10/22 because a Marlin60 will walk all over a 10-22..

Zero malfunctions or problems with my 15-22 using Winchester SuperX

    sorry, not sorry

I have both and both are great in their respective applications. The 15-22 is a fun plinker that a lot of folks love to shoot. The 10/22 is a great squirrel gun.

Just picked up a M&P15-22 last week. Took it out yesterday, and ran 300+ rounds through it, not one FTF, or FTE. I'm very happy with it.

I have never owned a 10/22 so I can't comment on them, but I hear the are darn nice guns.

I still have my old model 60 Marlin my dad gave to me some 40 years ago, and it still shoots good.

Either way.. You won't be disappointed.

10/22 if all else fails and you get tired of the plain Jane 10/22 you can always accessorize the heck out of it

You can always make a 10/22 an AR style rifle. You can't ever make a 15-22 as good as a shooter as a 10/22 or have near as many accessory options.
