Ruger Charger Takedown 22…..

Curious….. I know on the regular 10/22 you can switch barrels out no problem but on the Charger takedown model can you say have a 10” barrel and switch it out for a CF barrel of a different length etc? Didn’t know if the barrel availability was there for the takedown models or if that’s it with the barrel it comes with. Thanks

Pretty sure you can hot swap the barrels all you want, as long as the barrels are made for the takedown model.

Ruger offers a seperate takedown barrel with integral suppressor (nfa of course) for their takedown guns

Keep in mind the nfa laws when it comes to different barrel lengths on takedown pistols & rifles.

I had a 10/22 TD that I have swapped barrels on before I got rid of it. I went from a charger length barrel to a full length barrel.

Same here. Right now my 'Charger' is actually a 10/22 compact with the SBX 10 barrel.
