FWIW new quarter ribs use 4 screws.
Old quarter ribs used 4 screws and 2 dowels.

Put a new rib on dads rifle and its all back together and ready to check zero.

Of course, on the KHornet, I can't get 2 of the rib screws out (to use the EGW base).
IMHO Ruger should have used Torx screws instead of Allen.

Also, there are supposed to be some new #1s for this year.

New... No. 1s? I do feel a stirring in my nether region.

Once I get off my handgun kick, I plan on investigating older rifles for my enjoyment. I don’t want safe queens and plan on working out every one of them. They reminds me…maybe I need to seriously think about reloading!

Damn. Out of ammo. Until tomorrow. Yeah, I like reloading.
