Thanks i would surely appreciate that, i'm still trying to figure this sight out but will get you the info as soon as i find out how , What concerns me is the slide rattle .

I shot the SR-1911 my brother recently acquired this past weekend. When I first picked it up I heard a noise, so I checked and sure enough the slide to frame fit was loose. It shot great but I kind of expected a better fit than that. I suggested he call Ruger.

With the slide/barrel in battery with recoil spring pressure on them and they still rattle......that is loose.

Yup thats what mine does. the slide has play on the frame back and fourth, enough to bother ya for sure. The other rattles are from grip safety and trigger but i'm not to concerned with that. Glad to see my Ruger isn't the only one like that.

Yup i guess you learn by your mistakes. Gonna try the Ruger Service Department and see if i can get them to take a look at it for me.
    It's worth a shot .

Mine rattles a bit as well but it shoots just fine so I haven't really been too concerned about it. Might give Ruger a call after all. Thanks for asking the question.

Don't be surprised or upset if it gets sent back with "Nothing Wrong with it". It functions and feeds fine so there won't be a thing wrong with it. I'm familiar with one just like that. It's a friends gun and it was sending spent cases back in his face when ejected. It is a working gun and "Nothing wrong with it". It took about 10 minutes to tweak it back to working properly.

Well....I see you posted it up in the classifieds which I now believe was your intent from the start.

You were not completely honest in your ad which I am absolutely sure most of us already know.

    HHhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm
