Great gun at a great price. You should be able to find it in the $650-$700 range.
    I love my SR1911. :)

My son in law, a glock guy, just purchased his own Sr1911, because he likes mine so much.

I think the SR1911 is a beast! Good looking gun, has nearly the same identical upgrades as my Springfield Loaded but at about $200-ish cheaper. I haven't seen anything that would make me think twice about recommending one or for me to buy one. Simply a fantastic 1911.

Love mine, it's become my favorite 1911, it shoots awesome. Other 1911s, Springfield RO, Sig Stainless, & S&W 1911sc.

On the LGS list for new commander version.

I have the full "and" commander size of the SR1911, and love them both. With close to 1K down range out of each and no issues of any kind, the commander is now my EDC in a Tucker IWB, and the full size is my go to OC gun in a Fist holster

You can't complain about a gun that runs and didn't break the bank. Of course there is better 1911s, but you have the first Ruger 1911 and it is a good quality gun. Made in the USA too. Some of us forget about that too often.

Yup. Good and in the budget is always better than excellent and out of reach. After all, it doesn't matter how good it is if you can't afford to make it yours. :dunno:

Love mine I sold it because a buddy if mine wouldn't quit hounding me about it now I'm looking for another. They where $599 at bobs but they may be more now that was a year ago.
