I don't know the barrel length on the SR9C but I recommend reading up on Hornady Critical Duty vs. Critical Defense ammo. Hornady says the C Duty ammo is intended for full size pistols while the C Defense load is intended for shorter barreled versions.

I have fired the Hornady Critical Defense and Critical Duty from a Beretta 92FS. Both worked but I would not recommend regular use of the C Defense in longer barreled pistols.

Mine eats anything, also, but especially seems to enjoy 115-grain stuff. I hadn't shot it in over a year and this was its first 11-round group (10-yd, offhand) with MagTech cheapie 115-gr ball:

Of course, the outlier to the right was the last shot as I thought, "Hey, I'm doing pretty good!" :dunno:

While most of the dozens of 9mms I've had over the years enjoy 147-grainers, this gun does not seem especially accurate with them (but shoots them fine). It gets carried with Winchester PDX1 124-gr +Ps - running around 1215 fps with them (up here at 5950'>sea level, 64 degrees F) and grouping right at POA.

Mine came with all this stuff - it gets carried bare bones, tho.
