Ruger trigger problems: I have a Ruger P95DC that has been flawless for 3 years. I recently lost DA but the gun will fire in SA (trigger manually set). When disassembled I now notice the trigger mechanism is no longer secure in the frame but can move up and down out of the tripper housing. This looks like it is related to the new SAO problem.
Does anyone have a suggestion of what might have happened and offer a possible fix? I’d rather not send it back to Ruger if it is a simple solution. I know Ruger has a lifetime warranty on the gun and I can have them look at it, but it might be something very simple and I can save myself the shipping costs.

YES! I ended up taking it to Target Sports in Sheridan and the gunsmith there found a spring that had been incorrectly connected by a previous gunsmith - who died before I could return it to him.
