I have had mine on for a while. I have not had any issues. It is not the brightest, or the newest and most widely accepted (holsters and stuff), but mine is fine for what I need it for and bright enough. If I had a pile of money laying around, I might get a better light, but it is fine, on my M&P. I have probably put 500 rounds through it with it on.
