A lot of good K frames S&Ws appear from time to time. I scored this pair of Model 15s a few years back, were police trade ins.

A K-frame has the potential for one of the nicest revolver double action triggers of any of the revolvers out there. Glad you found one you like so well!

Nice! I picked up a model 13 awhile back. I believe it's the same as your 15 but without the adjustable sight.

I also believe the Model 13 you have is the blued version of my model 65. I think I read that somewhere. If I am wrong sorry, but it does appear to be the same looking gun.

I believe you are correct. The model 13 was basically a heavy barrel .357 mag version of the model 10. But shouldn't Smith have designated yours the model 63?:) The 65 should be a stainless variant of the 15, but the 15 has adjustable sights so that doesn't work. Oh, well, it's fun trying to make sense of it all. Either way they are all fine guns!
