take the loaded magazine and smack the baseplate against your palm a few times to resettle the ammo. This is common with double stack magazines of all types.

The 14 rd mag makes a rattling noise when walking. Does anyone else have this problem? If so any quick fixes to it?

    Thanks

The 40s do this and on a regular basis, not to worry, it doesn't seem to be more than annoying. I think the guys over on the S&W forum have a few tips if it bugs you.

Mine does the same thing, it is brand new! Try reducing the ammo count by 1 or 2 of the mag, may help. I also have to really "force the last two rounds" on a 14 rd mag.
Spring is really tight, hopefully release a little when used. Haven't shot mine yet, just scored some 40 cal ammo from a local hardware store, remodeling and got rid of it's ammo dept. They were still stocking 12/20 ga shotgun shells, rest is gone.
    Good luck.
