Short Action Customs has a novel design for its bushings that it claims will prevent the common concentricity problems associated with bushing dies.
I’ve seen independent testing on YT confirm the low concentricity.
I took delivery of a SAC bushing today and the quality is superb. Near mirror smooth and nitrided to be super hard. Not quite DLC but it almost looks like it (and DLC is totally unnecessary for this job).
ID of the bushings has a significant taper, so the nominal size is really just at the tip.
If you use bushing dies, or swore them off because the Redding and RCBS bushings gave runout problems, definitely look into the SAC bushings. Not cheap, but worth the price.
