I have to agree with the aircraft stripper comment, used that stuff in the automotive industry for awhile and it works great. just slather it on with an acid brush and you'll be good.

ETA: make sure you wear some thick gloves, that **** burns!

Fine Allen teh INGO hall monitor. SANDBLAST THE HELL OUTTA THAT THING!

It will remove the goo and leave an excellent base for whatever finish you wish to apply. Walnut shells or baking soda will remove paint and leave a matte finish. Glass bead will remove paint and leave a rougher texture.
