SBR muzzle devices....recommendations?

I am building an SBR in the near future. 10.5" with VLTOR CASV-EL rail system.

i am looking for an effective muzzle device that won't knock my fillings out or blind me.

Much may depend on if your plans include a suppressor. If so, I like 3-lug mount types, or the Omega System flash hiders or compensators.

Immediate plans are not with a suppressor. That could change down the road but, I am not planning on another $800 on this build.

I have the KX3 on my SBR and my pistol. It does a good job of directing the blast forward. Still, a can in in the future... I hope.

I have a Smith Enterprise Vortex on my 10.5 inch AR and it virtually eliminates all flash. I was surprised at how well it works and I am very pleased with it.

I've got a KAK Slimline Flash Can. Similar to the KX3, but at 25% of the price.

For non suppressor setups, I like the Kineti-Tech. It's an effective brake with a shroud to project the sound forward. I run one on my 8.5" and I get no teeth rattling. Nowhere NEAR like my 10.5" with YHM Phantom without shroud. I can get pics later if interested....

Not gonna say I haven't thought about that. None of my vehicles take that size so too risky.

I have a Vortex on a 7.5" SBR and it works awesome.

I have one of those claymore brakes for my 7.5" that's under a 9" rail. Does a good job of sending noise forward, and it was reasonably cheap. I really like how the kineti tech looks too.
My SBR won't ever see a suppressor so I like it just fine.

I picked up a Kaw Valley Precision from JoeBobOutfitters for like $43, figure I will give that a try. I also might have a lead on a Strike Ind Cookie Cutter. It's ugly as F but if it works....

Just shot it a week ago again. It's still quite LOUD. It's just not that loud by you.

yes it is the linear comp. I have the KAW, a cookie cutter, a kx3 (or a knock-off, not sure because it's used and painted) and an A2. I will let yall know once my paperwork returns.
