I am considering a move to a rifle scope on my Colt Match Target HBAR (Flat top) for 200 yard target shooting (primarily). I am not much of a mall ninja (too old and fat!).
I have looked at the Vortex line and read many of your reviews and was wondering what you might recommend. Extremely high magnification is not my ultimate goal, I am more convinced that optical clarity is more important.
As far as a mount I don't think I need a "field removable" unit. My backup sights will be the carry handle and a detachable front sight.
