So, the March went REALLY well this time. Still not a lot of media coverage this time, but we got more fliers passed out and talked to a lot more people.

I'm still disappointed at the turn out. I was very happy that all that showed up did show up. I just expected more people this time. I'm very grateful to all those that showed up and made this happen. We will be doing this again.

So, I have a bunch of photos that I'll be uploading here soon. Still downloading off the camera. I'd like to see everyone else's photos from the March!

Thanks again to all those that came. :patriot: Shame on those that didn't! :):

Hello, I really had a good time, met Savage Eagle, 38 special, and a few others... We need to do this more often. The count was about 35 participants, but could have been more.. someone, on here said if there were more than 30, they would cry, so start crying... We even had a guy driving a taxi, park his taxi, and join us...:yesway:

We probably need to do a Little better job of advertising next time. None of my co-workers or customers knew about the march. I'll try to post the next event at the store, so more people will be aware of the next event.:)

    Good times... Good times...

I got a real kick out of the guy who asked the man sitting in front of the State House, "How do you feel about the 2nd Amendment?", and the response was, "I have no idea what you are talking about"... So typical.

Agreed! We were totally gonna go...Bubba and I were actually driving to Indy when I got even more dizzy than when I started the day. Long story short, I found myself in urgent care hooked to an iv. :(

Glad to hear it went well. Hopefully we can make it next time!

There were four motorcycle officers, then two left before we walked. The two basically went ahead to clear crosswalks, and were very cordial, friendly guys.

When we passed the WW Memorial and got up to that government building where the INDYGO people were standing outside, the white guy up on the wall was asked if he supported the 2A. His response, and I quote, "Yes, I support the second amendment. AND I'm a Socialist, too!" :n00b:

Still wish smokin' 357 would have shown up. :( sadpanda HAHA

I was SOOOO hoping he would show up. I had a great debate planned out too.

I'm very sorry to hear about that. We'll be having another one before the end of the year. Probably closer to the Fall if not this Summer. Hope you're feeling better and get well soon! :ingo:

Well, if you want to start yanking teeth, a Socialistic economy is the way to go, not a Socialistic government... But the word gets to interchanged because socialistic economies usually are the stepping stone into communism, because the people become power less because all they do is try to make a living just to get by and exhaust all their energy into that not having energy to vote, go to town hall meetings. As crappy as these big biz. have made the US it's still the best way to go, Capitalism, it's not even the big biz faults. It's the government's faults for putting all these restrictions on them.
Do I think a CEO should be making 80 million a year with bonuses? NO. I think they should do the right thing, cut their salary and reinvest it in the company, (read: their company not the poor and the government) but it is that CEO's right and I am in no place to judge him/her because I know how I will be judged when I first meet Simon Peter.

I don't at all support economic socialism, and consider it fighting words. Cultural socialism, as in Switzerland, can be a beneficial thing for society, though it's unlikely to appeal to American cultural heritage.

But if he supports the 2A, we can argue over the rest later.

economic socialism is where the people own everything. no big corporations. but america is far to large to have economic socialism work properly.
