    Think also about hiding things in areas that are in plain sight. For example, put in false duct work in the basement to hide things in. Or a fake air return vent in a wall. Fake electrical outlets are good for small things. And they still sell those fake cans with screw bottoms that you can hide among the stuff under you sink or in the garage. Lots of ways to hide things, even if you can't put in a secret room, just use you imagination!

    Seriously though, there's lots of ways to hide things. Whether they'll be found depends on who is looking though. A smash and grab thief...or the feds?
