Why not just buy a new tank? If you like your bowl, you can keep your bowl...

Didn't know that was an option. Mrs. Miguel has had a running concern on the toilet's capacity, as Miguel Jr. and Mini Miguel are, well, increasing their capacities.

Ended up getting a Kohler from Home Depot: KOHLER Highline Classic the Complete Solution 2-piece 1.28 GPF Single Flush Elongated Toilet in White-K-11499-0 - The Home Depot

We did look at the golf ball video for American Standard, but ended up going with the Kohler since it was on sale. "It's just a toilet" she said. That's my girl. ;)

I don't think you will be disappointed!

Mine have been punished and keep doing their job!

    Another Toto fan here.

I used to install Ultramax models in my home. The one piece is looks nice, compact and easy to keep clean, but it's awkward to install.

Whatever brand you go with (We have a Toto in the 2nd bathroom/kids BR and an American Standard in the master) - get the "accessible" height throne. Seriously.

What is "accessible"? Do you mean short for the li'l guys, or taller than the "tall" (i.e. "comfort height")?

Maybe I need more coffee this am, but I fully expected questions like so from ingo:

    Budget?
    Ass size?
How often do you dump per day?
Average volume of each "range trip"?
How many dumpers in the household?
How much and type of tp used per dump?

I mean cmon....if chitter in this case, was a rifle, we'd see all these questions!

Seriously though, Kohler is a good brand.

I think you forgot to mention "Are you planning on reloading" and "Caliber of projectiles"?

I believe it can be summed up as, Anal Blunderbuss.

Accessible = The Commerical Model, Taller.

    Ah!

When I was buying mine, I didn't realize there was anything taller than "tall." I wish I had known, because when I had my parents living here, the "comfort height" or what you're mentioning would have been handy.

Check out the Toto brand, "Drake" toilet. It will take anything that passes thru a body and a three year olds tennis shoes in the same flush.

I have Toto Drakes, and they are good.

I know the OP has already purchased, but I would also agree with the Toto. Had one put in at the old house and never had any issues with it.

We need to identify all the models referenced in this thread and have the first an(nu)al INGO **** off.

Not like I have ever **** out a dozen golf balls...

Some of my family members **** bricks when we talk about guns.

I've replaced both toilets in our house. The first was (I think) a Crane in the upstairs bathroom. It works well.
I can't recall what brand I bought for the downstairs a year or so ago. Bought both pieces at the True Value hardware, because that's what they had in stock. It does the job it was intended to do, and cost less than $100 for both the tank and the bowl.

FWIW, the old tank & bowl are in the back yard. My wife hates it, but it made a nice planter.
