Just wanted to pick peoples brains on shipping gun parts out side of the us. Specifically the YHM BUIS I have for sale in the parts and accessories section. I got an offer out side of the boards from a Swedish man. He claims to be a member of a joint operations unit of American and Swiss soldiers preparing to ship for his 6th tour... I however am taking this little piece of information with a grain of salt.

So what do you guys think, would shipping a part to him that has nothing to do with the functioning of a firearm be a problem?

This is the message I received from him.

hi there, I am military/specops (eusocom mountain warfare school,
switzerland/europe), closely working together with your ussocom and

I think it would violate part of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. I deal with this at work from a commercial side, but don't know anything about private sales. I would give it away for free before I ever shipped any firearm or firearm accessory outside of the US.
