Last year I bought a Ruger LC9s online and had it transferred to Cabelas in Hammond. I was charged $35 for a transfer fee.
Last week I ordered a Glock 43 from Grab a gun and picked it up at Cabelas yesterday. The transfer fee was $75! That's quite a
    jump.

    Just thought I'd share.

Guess you'll check with the small gun shops from now on. I usually see the shop advertise $15-35 transfer fees.

I have found that their prices are not that great, even with their big name and all. Have gotten just as good if not better deal from small shops, or have found a few good deals at Rural King believe it or not.

The price from GAG was $450 plus the $75 made it $525. Cabela's wanted $550 plus $39 tax would have been $589. Still way better than buying from them.

I found a guy in St. John that charges $30. PM me if you want info. He works out of his house.
