    Damned if you do, possibly damned if you don't. Unfortunately innocents has a price tag, be sure who or whom you are protecting is/are worth the cost otherwise. I doubt many people would stand up and do the right thing and raise some money to offset legal costs if you stopped a perp in the area their loved ones were in.

    Did not claim there is a such thing as "immunity from civil litigation". Said you should be immune from "civil responsibility". Meaning, if you are sued you should not end up with a monetary judgement against you. I'm fully aware that you can be sued by anyone for anything at anytime.
    Yeah, but I'm uneasy knowing my fate is in the hands of a jury...you NEVER know how they will decide.
