Shooting benches.

Finally got my shooting benches done today. Once I got started they went pretty quickly. Now to get the tree cut down that's in the way of the firing line an its ready for use!


Here is a pic with all the framing put together.

Here they are leveled up with the firing line an set in the ground.

An the finished product with all the decking screwed down on top. All in all not bad for a day Im very happy with how they turned out. Now to just get to use them

Thanks! As of right now its 125yrds, Ill probably extend it next year I don't feel like clearing any more brush lol

Those will work well and will last quite a while. I built identical benches several years ago and then built a low table, 24" high, 4' wide and 8' long in between the two benches for shooting prone. It has worked great and gives me a place to set stuff down when using the bench. Plus, the table gets me up off the wet and frozen ground.

The Lefties tend to want to ban guns, not build and use a stable, safe rest for them.

Since I don't know any that shoot or that I would allow to shoot on my property, they didn't make the cut lol. But if it should happen that one came to shoot I guess a guy could put a chair or stool in between the two benches to shoot
