Hillside used to rent glocks...if not, I'd be happy to let anyone shoot one of mine if I can shoot one of theirs that I haven't shot before :)

as an aside, my first glock was a 19. Then I got a 26. Now I'm looking at getting a 17.

If you're buying a glock, get a gen 4 so you can get 3 mags...unless you can get a blue label that comes with 3 as well.

Yea I agree the multiply when I started on this forum I was obsessed with xd's and for the past couple years I have been into glocks hardcore. There is an xds in the classifieds that would look great on my hip tho. Naw might as well get another glock dont own a full size currently so I'm off to go find a g 17.

I thought about shooting a Glock, but then decided that would ruin it, and even though I don't want it, maybe someone does!

Does anyone know any ranges that have Glocks you can rent? I would like to try one out

I think Indy Trading Post has a few for rent. I will be there this Saturday around noon with my G19. I'd be willing to let you run a few mags through it if you want to meet up.

The glock 19 is on my list to shoot, I'm trying the 34 out this weekend. Hopefully the 34 represents a good feel for the glock because it will be the first one i've shot.

    OK by me, OK bayou..
I have a G27 and it out shoots my beretta 92fs hands down. Surprised the hell out of me with its shorter sight radius and more pronounce muzzle flip.

i carry it almost everywhere as it is very concealable. I'd like to get my hands on a 19 and a 26 to see how the recoil/flip compares to the 27 in 40cal.

yeah, Hickock45 has a way of making you want any gun he's shooting doesn't he? And he looooooves his Glocks!

I've found this to be true of most died in the wool Glock owners and shooters. Most who have them are very high volume shooters. If there ever was a gun that begged to be shot, and shot a lot, it's a Glock.

Yea they sure do grow on you and I have a few other models that are a little more easy to shoot accurately the PPQ 5", VP9 and 1911s but still would not part with my G17, and G19.

I just got a 34 Gen 4. Right off I had brass to the face. Had to replace extractor. Replaced the sights and did a trigger job using ghost rocket. Now, love the gun. Accurate and fast.

People love to hate glocks. I often find their reasoning laughable. If you don't like glocks just because they aren't for you, that's fine. But don't make up silly reasons. No matter what you can't deny that they are a good gun, even if you don't personally like them.

Then there is the other side.. the Glocktards who get their panties in a bunch if you say anything bad about them..

    regardless.. carry on.
