Anyone think they will continue to trend down in price? I have been wanting the retro grade in 12 gauge with 18.5 barrel. Looks like they can be had for below msrp again. We have a 20 gauge 870. It’s ok but I am not a fan of the safety placement.

I much prefer the placement on the 500. Seems like it’s a solid platform?

kind of thinking better to get one know than to wait for the next this that or the other thing that restarts the panic buying?

The entire economy is in inflation.
    Cost of steel is skryrocked.
I sure haven't seen shotgun prices on US-made ones come down yet; they're still over MSRP around here. But, there are plenty of Turkish made pumps and semi-autos available...so many different brand names too.

When we had Obummer as a POTUS, i wanted a new shotgun. LGS had none, he even suggested WalMart. I went there, bought a Moss 500, 28in vented rib barrel. Had the plastic fake birchwood stock and golden trigger. Price was $227.00 and tax.

Replaced the 28 in bbl with an 18.5 in, bought a Magpuls rear stock, add side saddle(ammo), sling, and clip on rail for a light or lazer. My Streamlight TLR-1 works perfect. Never looked back, fine function shotgun. Didnt really like WalMart, but they had stock on hand.

There seems after all the craziness of last year and all the Mossbergs and Remingtons dried up, I noticed a lot of imports started coming in, mostly from Turkey. I've read some reviews, it appears some are better then others but, I haven't had any practical experience with them. But, they seem to be reasonably priced.

I had an escort shotgun from Turkey. I never had any issue with it. It kicked like a mule, but worked. I sold it for a Mossberg.

A local shop has a 930spx and a 930 I'm pro in stock didn't ask about price probably would have gotten me in trouble at home.

The 930SPX is a great shotgun; very reliable, shoots all loads great even low-brass birdshot, and is very manageable. Was it the pistol grip version or the straight stock? Bet it was high priced too...

Local shop has a bunch of Mossbergs. They have been backordered for a long time but are now showing up. Prices are starting to come down as inventory stabilizes. A lot of used guns are starting to show up again now that the Uncle Sugar money is drying up and credit card bills are coming due.

FYI - there is a new 590 retrograde sitting in the rack. $599. I have no idea what MSRP is but the guns sell quickly.

It was the pistol grip version. I didn't even look at price I have bought 3 guns in 3 weeks and would probably need a new place to live if I came home with another.

Whittaker’s down in Ky has some serviceable shotguns on sale. If you like nice rifles and have never been there you really need to make the trip

I am a little worried about my LGS. Instead of having empty shelves, they filled the store with guns that I wouldn't ever buy at any price.
