Shot Show 2012

I just spent 6 hours walking throught Shot 2012....I think we only saw 1/3 of the exhibits...my feet finally gave up so we decided to take the rest of the day off...I can sum the show up in 1 word.....

WOWWWWWWWWW........just unbelieveable

Talked to Larry Vickers for a minute, met Wiley Clapp, saw Jim Scouten and R. Lee Ermey....

We (RushCA01) and I will be going back tomorrow for round 2.

Got to fondle a Larue PretatOBR today at SHOT. Very nice!

12" rail
14.5 barrel with pinned surefire flash/break
OBR barrel profile
PredatAR chasis (meaning no 20 MOA cant built in)
Same price as OBR
Larue grip/and stock

Talking to them I asked about a 16" barrel and as of now there is no plans for one. There flier shows it with a 14.5 16 and 18 though....

Very light and nice handling.

Word around the campfire is there are a number of manufacturers that are showing off their new 300BLK rifles. Daniel Defense, Bushmaster and S&W to name a few. This could mean that we could start seeing more 300BLk ammo hit the shelf.

DD had a 300 offering. LMT is releasing their 300 soon for their MRP rifles. Sadly I missed the AAC honey badger, I was hoping to find one but did t see it.

Well that sucks! I was just messing with you anyway. I am sure there are things there way more interesting than a Dillon minigun anyway. I was supposed to go with a friend this year, but had to back out. I am going to the National NRA thing in April. I heard it's kind of like a mini shotshow. Ill make it to shot next year. Helping my buddy was more important this year. Have fun
